Convex edge on TTKZ ?

Just want some opinions on if putting a convex edge on a Ttkz is a good idea or will it take away from the edge strength.
 
I believe ( at least on mine and the others I've seen) the stock edge profile is convex ( a bit thick though) but it can use a thinning typically.
 
I had two at one point in time, a numbered Test Team and a custom shop both had convex edges, as well as all of the customs at the AG Russell show in 2010. So I am thinking unless you have one that has already been resharpened/reprofiled then it should be that way too? They work very well with the convex, even better if they are thinned out a bit. ;)

Thanks guys gonna send my ttkz out to norcalblactail to have a convex edge put on it.
 
I sent my TTKZ back to Garth for an improved convex profile. Other, lesser, blades have been done here on my HF 1x30, but I had the professional do that one.
