Convex Edge?

In reading the recent email from Mike Turber, about the Busse Basic 9 offer, I was reminded of a question I have had for some time. What is meant by the term "convex edge?" Does it apply to the cutting edge of the blade, i.e., the part we sharpen, or the side of the blade which runs from the spine to the cutting edge?

Thanks in advance for the help.
 
Never mind. After reading another members post and the responses, I went to the frequently asked questions section and read all about the various blade grinds.
