Convex Folders

You've never seen an Opinel?

Well, to be fair, they're not really a full convex grind + bevel, but then neither are most so-called convex fixed blades.

i would say opinel is awesome for a thin, great cutting convex. i find they need a sharpening out of the box, but other than they are great.

Somehow I thought that Opinels where the best example of the so called ZERO GRINDS. Flat grind from the spine to the edge with no bevels... Once you sharpen it the first time, you lose it. Then you can put a V edge or a convex Edge on it.

All the folders I use are convex grind!

None of them came that way from the factory, but they are now! :D

I'll narrow the inquiry some (fully knowing that this might hijack the thread some)... Are there any U.S. made frame locking folders with a single factory "convex" gound wharncliffe style blade?
