Convex grind on Featherweights

I'd like to know if the older Featherweights were a full convex grind or partial convex grind. I'm looking to replace one of the older models which was recently stolen from my father during a burglary, and was wondering if I should continue seeking one of the older ones, or if I can just get one of the new ones, and put a partial convex edge on it myself.

Any info would be greatly appreciated!

I have one of the original Morans as well as a newer drop point. The old one has a flat ground blade that kinda blends into the convex edge. Also the old one has a mirror polish where the new one has a satin finish. The edge on the drop point is probably thinner too, but I am not sure, I don’t have them right here.
