Yo dudes. I was just wondering who does convex grinds these days, particularly full convex grinds? The search function overloaded when I tried so I just thought I'd ask. I know Swamp Rat and Blackjack do. Here is a link which I stole from "The Swamp" http://home.nycap.rr.com/sosak/convex.htm
extolling the virtues of covex grinds and it looks pretty good to me. Actually, I have a Camp Tramp and Battle Rat on order and hope to get hold of a Blackjack Grunt so I'll be most interested to see.
Thanks, Rod.

Is Swamp Rat full convex grind ? I thought it is flat grind with convex edge no?
Bark River is full convex, very good
Also remember Opinels make convex grind in very affordable folder!!!

Many of the Moran production runs are full convex.

There are still a few knifemakers who make full convex too. ;)

I think Fallkniven makes some convex grinds... Not sure exactly which ones they are, though.

Convex grinds rock! I don't have any Swamp Rats, yet ;) but I have Opinels, Bark Rivers, and some older Gerbers that had convex grinds, and they all cut really well. Seem to cut well even when they loose shaving sharpness, too.

Oh well thanks for all of that..Bark River are coming out with some very nice bowies that I may have to investigate. Awesome dudes!

Well, after all your coercion I went and bought a Bark River Rogue Bowie with green micarta handle. When my wife inevitably asked why I had done this terrible thing I quite truthfully replied that an older boy had told me to do it. I'll post my impressions when I get it. Not a lot on the forums about them.

Daniel, are you talking about the Spyderco Moran fixed blade model? The more I look at that knife the better it looks and I'd like to try out vg-10.
Thanks!
