convex kit

Has anybody here put together a small, durable kit for keeping up a convex edge in the field?

There was a thread a little while back about a real neat little kit put together by Rescue Riley (I think). Maybe somebody with the search function can find it for you.

Doc

bark river sells a stropping kit for their knives which are mostly convexed

rescueriley's great tin sharpener is easy to make and incredibly versatile:

inside i keep 400 grit through .5 micron film. there is a sheet of leather glued to the back that can be loaded for a strop, but i want to keep it so that it won't dirty up my bag or pocket by compound rubbing off everywhere.

That is a clever little setup. I remember seeing it in the other thread and thinking that I've got to make one.

Now if I only had the flu...;)
