convex or bevel? POLL

Convex -- but a well-done bevel is great, too. Most of my folders have a bevel that I just touch up on a strop -- so they're a bit convexed. Works fine for me.

Does not matter too much but i generaly prefer convex for Fixed blades, axes/hatchets and slippies, while I prefer V grinds (bevel edges) on my tactical folders) however if I need to reprofile anyblade I will convex it.

I like a very flat bevel achieved with a sharpening guide, then I put a micro-bevel by hand with ceramic stones. I don't really like the feel of a convex edge to the touch, it seems almost blunt since it is rounded off.

Now as far as scientific mumbo jumbo, I have no idea which is better for edge holding or cutting ability. I just like a flat looking edge :o
