I went and convexed my ASH1. I wish I would have done this a long time ago. Any other convexed Busse pics out there?

RS---you're gettin good! And...you're a Busse knut! That's good.
I'm doing my GW by hand. So the pic will be awhile.

Mr. Lycosa - Thanks

banana-clip - they cut very well

Horn Dog - That looks nice. How much height do you need to take off of the blade to do this? Time consuming?

Thanks

Rich---call me Rolf, or Swinecosa. :D
What till you see what Garth is going to do my Nuc! :)

Stag--- Of course I'll post pic. I'm really bad with the puter/camera tech. My wife is learning me.
Horndog---

yeah, a cheap belt sander is currently what i use too.

I just got home where I can view these pics on something larger then my BB and man I am glad I waited. You really got beautiful edges on those. I am impressed. Thanks for sharing!

These ones are all done by me, by hand.

Awesome! You must love sharpening! I love pics of sharp Busse knives. I spent over four days sharpening my FBM on an edge pro never to finish. I finally said forget this. You have more time and patience than I.

I really do! Its one of those zen-like things for me... Shaping the metal to meet my demands....or something like that:D.

I actually have to post some more photos of the most recent reprofile I have done to the CGFBM, lets just say the bevel starts at where the first groove closest to the edge was......

I have yet to pick up a belt sander, but I forsee one in my near future.

those are pretty sweet. i agree sharpening is kind of a zen thing, but i don't know if i could do something like that skinny by hand

I've posted this before; here's an extreme convex on a .220 Game Warden, done by hand with DMT stones. Stock on right.
