I have a folder or two and I want them to have a convex edge. Is there someone on this board who does that?

Thanks!

siguy and richard j are the two "go to" guys on here for convexing generally. i'm sure there are others but they aren't coming to mind for some reason.
what's the knife? and where abouts are you?
i usually assume ppl are in the states around here haha, if that is the case depending on the knife you won't want to send it to a canadian for sharpening and vice versa and so on.

I have put a full convex grind on my SOG Twitch II and my bowie blade and also an Ozark Trail knife that a brought from walmart ill try and post pics later

Tom Krein did a full Convex grind with a convex micro bevel on one of my Spyderco Native Lightweight knives. Here's a pic:

...I'm not sure this is what you are looking for or just a convex edge bevel, but I thought I would share one option.

Cheers.

There is a pretty well done convex tutorial at knivesshipfree.com, if you want to do it yourself. Even if you hire out the initial convexing you will need to know how to maintain it, and the vids help explain alot.
I convexed the edge on my Cara Cara, and it was really straightforward and simple, a fully convexed blade however, you may want to hand off to Richard j or Siguy both have positive reports here at BF.
If you are a DIY kind of guy grab some asst. wet/dry sandpaper (320-2000 grit) and a mousepad, or slab of thick leather, and jump on it. Just doing the edge takes hardly any time, and the results will please you.
