Hello all,

Just got one of these, and I am impressed with the overall design of the knife. For the price, much better than a similar sized/priced BK9, with much better handles. Same crappy sheath though. I am thinking I probably should convex the edge though, since this will be used for/is an outdoor chopper.

Any reason I should keep the lil v-grind on this knife?

I convexed mine several years ago before I had a belt grinder. Used sandpaper laid on some belly leather. Worked great. The knife rides always in the rear floorboard of my truck.

No real reason to keep the v-grind. Convex should provide for a more stable edge for chopping
