I wanna buy an Umnumzaan with the new s35vn and the lockbar stop.

I need a bit of convincing.

I know I came to the right place, convince me to buy it :)

Thanks, in advance, I'm holding you all responsible (lol jk)

Do it! LOL I bet you'll love it and it should provide a lifetime of service. Keep us posted if you take that leap!

Oh I probly won't sell it, I have a lot of expensive knives, none of which I could bare to sell, (lol they all just feel so special!) just not any Reeve knives of my own yet, though I've handled many.

They were just never my style but the Umnum has grown on me extensively and now I'm thinking I need to add one haha

Took me 6 years to finally break down and buy a Sebenza. First saw one at the Blade show in 2004 and actually met Chris and didn't even know it at the time. I was standing there talking to a friend and he came up because he knows my friend. It wasn't until later I found out it was Chris and then my friend showed me his Sebenza. Being left handed I appreciated the workmanship but it didn't feel right. But I wanted a left handed one. It just took forever for me to make up my mind to get one. Then in 2010 I took the plunge when I saw an online retailer with a LH large and small in stock. Ordered both and haven't looked back. Very pleased with my purchases. Several now actually. That includes 3 LH Umnums. :)

Have you bought it yet?

Go for it, as others have said, if you really, really don't like it you can easily trade or sell it. I know what you mean about them growing on you, I've had to convince myself not to pick one up off the exchange more than once.

You guys, much love hahaha... Alright first thing 2012 I think I'll place an order for the latest Umnumzaan... I want it to be my first knife purchase of 2012. That is if the world doesn't end

The world ain't going nowhere yet......lol. get the zaan. I'm getting one for x-mas

There is so much talk about Striders and Hinderers and then there is the Zaan. I currently own a Strider SnG (2nd one) and also owned a Gen3 Hinderer 3.5". The Zaan is still a better all around knife. The quality of the Hinderer is similar but the slicing ability is lacking. Go with the Zaan and don't collect it...... use it! Only then when will you appriciate what the knife can do.

Oh I plan to EDC it, I want that handle to looked scratched up as ti handles are mean't to be.

Will you all please stop posting about the Umnumzaan? Please? You're going to make me buy one too. :D

Good call on carrying and using it. I never truly appreciated my Sebenza until I really put it through its paces opening a ton of packages. You really get a better appreciation of the craftsmanship that way.

Umnumzaan, umnumzaan, um........num.....................................zaan!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you get one you will be seriously disappointed......In all of the other folders in you collection! :) It really is a great piece. Just get it and you won't regret it.

Hee Hee, i just did, couldnt make up my mind whether to go Sebenza or Umnum, went for the Umnum, cant wait now! : )

I recently picked up a "left over" TNK Polished Tanto Umnumzaan, Trust me, you'll never regret it. I'm now trying to resist the temptation to buy another as a "back up"...at least that's the story I'll use...

The only change I made was to glass bead the scales as I didn't appreciate the scratched Ti look. Now nothing marks it up, less I drop it. (God forbid...)
