Convince me to do a contest... contest

Hello guys,

Before I give the introduction to the contest I want to share something, I am in depression, still not taking meds, but most of my life is stuck I stooped school and work and don't leave my room for almost nothing. So if anyone has a history to share please to I am in need of strength right now.



So the context is this, you have to convince me in 140 characters max why should i hold a context, write it here along with your beckerhead number. There will be 5 prizes the first will be either one BK-11 or one BK-14 in the choice of the winner, the other 4 will be one (1) Becker BK-13 Remora for the following from 2nd to the 5th.

Rules

1- Only Beckerheads (sorry guys)
2- The text must be between " like in: "You should... Blah blah blah", text outside this will not be computed but are free to write anything.
3- Only one enter if you wish to change you post quote yourself say that this one is not more valid and write another one
4- The results will be choosen by myself and myself only. At the minimal time from 2 weeks from now so don't stop posting.
5- Good luck and make every letter count theres 5 prizes so the chance is on your side.

sorry to hear that you are feeling depressed man. life can suck sometimes but you have to try to think of the good things. if i can personally do something for you please let me know.
 
Not an entry (well, not a Beckerhead so you probably knew that), but I did want to say stay strong. Remember that depression is a physiological problem just as much as a broken arm is. Meds aren't a cure all, but I strongly recommend you see someone for it and see if they might be a good fit for you. Personally, I'm type 2 bipolar and very, very lucky that I work for a doctor who'll pound on me and make sure I take my meds. I know going through this just straight up sucks and I hope things get better. I'll keep you in my thoughts.
 
Thanks guys, I'm not going to a medic per se but im doing therapy for getting better... I've come here because you guys are always cheerful and the other time i was down just comming to the foruns i think helped me.

Derick, don't you have a album full of testicle pic's from the last get together? You could send them.
Carlos I agree you should spend time outside the sun will make you feel better. Sorry I'm not more help.

I think everyone has been there to some degree, although it sounds cliche try to concentrate on the things you're grateful for. Health, family, friends etc. try not to dwell on the negatives in life. If you ever need someone to talk to drop me a pm.

Keep your head up brother! Life always has more to bring. Focus on the positive things and take it day by day. Get out in the sun and fresh air whenever you can and bring a faithful Becker!

Hey man, sorry to hear you're down in the dumps. This stuff always goes in waves. Better days are just around the corner. Remember, when you wake up to remind yourself that the day belongs to you. You're in control of everything you do or don't do. If there's something you like - embrace it. If there's something you don't like - change it.

Hope all the best for you bud. Focus on the good things, don't dwell on the negative. Take it on day at a time; save tomorrow's troubles for tomorrow. You're in my thoughts and prayers, friend.
 
I say you forget the whole contest idea and buy yourself something nice and sharp. That always makes me feel better when I am down (at least until my wife finds out, then I feel much worse than I did to begin with---but at least I have something sharp)--- Then you can take your new knife and carve some feathersticks and give those away in a contest. Its a win-win for everyone!!!!!!:D
