For whatever reason my cookies are not working. I tried deleting them and starting over but that has not helped either. Spark, do you have any suggestions?

They aren't working for me either, so I'm not sure what's going on.

Me too. After hitting the "delete cookies" button and setting my preferences again I looked in my cookies folder and I don't see anything under Bladeforums or UBB either.

I notice some people say they're getting "show last 20 days" and some including me are getting only 5 days ... that seems odd; why aren't we getting the same default.... I dunno.

P.S. When I tried to post this I got the "page cannot be displayed" error message. The same thing happened last night when I tried to post in Practical Tactical and even after I loaded the thread in another window and refreshed several times my post still wasn't there, so I went back and hit "submit reply" again and that time it worked and the post appeared -- only once, not a double post. So I'll try this one again ... let's see what happens ...

Ditto, plus can't get into whine and cheese either. After typing in name and password (not remembered by software) and W&C password it says, "we are fowarding you to ..." and then dumps me back on the entry page with all the info blank again.

Any insight appreciated.

I still don't have a Bladeforums cookie and still have to enter my name and password again every time I post, still see 5 days ... but I can get into Whine & Cheese all right. I dunno ... let's see if this message posts first try or not ...

Well, at least I'm not alone with my stale cookies.

I just checked and I have one cookie but I thought there were usually two. My preferences seem to be the same, but I keep mine set on 5 days anyway. I have been needing to enter my password at the beginning of every visit too. I haven't gone to Whine and Cheese in a while, I'll have to see what happens.

I'm having to enter Username and Password for every post and can't get into Whine and Cheese also.

Spark,
Here's some more detail in case it helps figure out the situation. I definitely am not receiving any cookies from BFC. The Makers/Mfgrs. is the only subsection that I get any lightbulbs on, and of course they are all on every time I go there.

I'm having the same cookie problems w/Bladeforums as everyone else. All of my other cookies work fine... just BF that's malfunctioning.

I just made some backend changes, maybe this will fix them.

I think we need to have another look at the back end again...
I'm still getting lit up bulbs and no identified new posts when I log in to any forum.

I'm just off to W&C face almost certain rejection, however if I do get in I may have my first whine...

It doesn't look like it worked, Spark. I erased cookies, reset my preferences to display one day, closed & reopened my browser, and started visiting forums. Everything was fine for the first several forums then bing -- 5 days displayed again. I had to manually enter usename & PW to post this as well.

Regarding the Whine & Cheese (W&C) rejection, I've been having the same problem. I've found that if I go offline for a moment and then go back online that I usually get in W&C. Hope it works for you too.
