Cookies with Whine & Cheese

Still having no luck whatsoever either resetting my preferances or getting into whine & cheese. With whine & cheese I type in all the info and it welecomes me and granting access then imediatly takes me back to the password part again like a never ending circle. I found this all started happening to me on Sunday the day everything was reset for day light savings for what ever thats worth.

I am having the same problem. I found that if I quit my browser and restarted, I can get into WC the first time. Thereafter, I get caught in the endless loop Strider mentioned. In no forum is my user name and password recorded. I have changed my profile email account and password, deleted cookies and changed my preferences hoping it would help.

This whine and cheese thing is really weird and points to the problem being on BFC's end. How can the server recognize a user name, password, and private forum password, say thank-you, but then send you right back to the sign-in page?

For me all of these cookie problems started shortly after the 'upgrade' and then the subsequent 'downgrade'. There are a bunch of things still showing up strange, eg. the forum icons are weird, not the way they used to be.

I normally use Netscape 4.7. But I found that everything works fine with Netscape 6. No WC access problems. I dunno what that means. But I don't like Netscape 6 and would prefer the older browser. I have not tried Exploiter to see if that browser works with the 'new' BFC software config.
