The question for the store and for the vegetable company is, -- who dunnit? People have been known to fake this sort of thing, generally looking for cash to assuage their outraged feelings.

I would guess if they didn't know the difference between a snake and a frog, they probably didn't plant it there themselves, though.
 
It's not funny or interesting enough for WSS, at least that's my opinion. Off topic drive by posting.
