Cool Eskabar sheath alternative

I had been wanting to have a sheath that would be decent without shelling out an arm and a leg for and be low profile instead of a neck knife and I was going thru my junk cabinet of junk store knives I've collected and forgot a little Chinese survival knife that I purchased for 5 bucks at a store...I've seen them around all over the Internet..the sheath is pretty damn good and od to boot, and came with a ferro rod that's not too bad. I figured somebody might want a simple yet affordable little sheath for edc and here's my entry for your viewing pleasure..the 14 fits perfect and the sheath itself has a resin type second layer underneath the nylon..well built...get one.

That's a cool way to re-purpose something from a junk knife. I'd pay five bucks for that sheath (and ask the seller to please, hold the knife).
 
They have them around for dirt cheap..the knife ain't too bad with it...Just isn't as trustworthy as an Eskabar. you could probably throw the thing in your toolbox for the truck or car as a pitch scrapeing knife or a quick toss away..

It's on an auction site under survival knife..it has a od green cord wrapped handle..hopefully not breaking any rules...maybe if I chant 3 times loud enough to wake the neighbors, "BECKERS RULE!!! Then I will be forgivin...

Does the nylon sheath have a plastic liner inside? If not the knife could just stab right through/

You might also find them cheap by paddling around the river.

smkw has them CHEAP. the little knife sux.its a strider copy.but hey,if ya gotta leave one stuck in somebodys ass,rather it be that one an not your esky.just sayin:)
 
Pick em' up guys!! You won't regret it!! I love the sheath..damn comfortable as well! I like having at least 2 to 3 different sheaths for one knife, it makes the possibilities endless. Kinda like switching boot types for different terrains.
