I was over at BladeArt yesterday BSing with Seth and got to checking out some flashlights.
I wound up with a Pelican 2390.
Cool little light that ran about 5 hours last night one one set of batteries.
I really like the fact that the holster holds an extra set of batteries.
It throws a lot of light for a little thing... about as much as my 3D maglite..

I like those Pelicans. Good stuff. I don't own that model, but it is well reviewed. Those 3v lithiums are available at several online dealers at a fraction of their cost in stores. (Think ~1 dollar vs 2.50 - 5 each at retailers.) They have a 10 year shelf life too. Good stuff. What did you think of the nice white color of the light compared to the yellow stuff the maglite produces? That is what hooked me on LED flashlights. PM me for links to suppliers of the batteries. (I am unoffiliated with any battery or flashlight company.)

The M6 LED is a good light--I have the older 1W version and it works great. Pelican did a good job getting good tints for their LED lights and are all pretty close to white. The M6 has a heavy duty body and the addition of the "clickie" tailswitch was a nice upgrade from the momentary. I didn't know the new sheaths holds extra batts too. The M6 is a little on the bulky side (but still pocket-able) and the sheath I have is kind of big, but it's a good light for the price. The Pelican reflector is also one of the best production reflectors out there and works really well with LEDs and throws pretty far.

edited to add: Oh, and the 2390 also apparently has an HAIII finish.
