Cool gift from a cool friend!

I want to use this post to thank a friend for a really cool gift! Somewhere in one of my babblin post i mentioned an M1 bayonet I got from my dad when I was younger that I had recently lost to a housefire. I carried it to the woods with me everywhere i went camping and used the heck out of it! Anyway he was kind enough to send me one of his own in absolutely mint condition. It still has the factory edges and obviously has never been used. Well I thank you my friend and will wait till you identify yourself if you please but most of the forumites here will not be surprised at your generosity! Very cool knife! I have Khuks now so this one will stay in pristine condition. Even the release button operates smoothly! I put another blade of mine in there just for scale:D Thanks again Baw..... oops almost let that slip:cool:

Looks a bit better than the old one. Lacking the sentimental value of your dad but perhaps a good gap filler.

Looks like a pocket knife next to that Giant Bowie. That thing is a beast ain't it. Glad you posted that comparison.
 
Yes it does. I remember prying all kinds of stuff with it. Im sure it will bend like a noodle now. Still I wouldnt want to be on the receiving end of an M1. Love my Bowie! I cant believe the last one went for $125. The guy never did rear his head did he?
