Cool here in Indiana Tonight

We had the single digit and below zero temps last week. Sucked working outside. Feels even colder up on those telephone poles!

We're just west of Fort Wayne a few miles and watching the skies. Have the Kubota fueled up and ready to clear some snow. I think you will see the snow first, but by morning we should all be seeing a good covering... My wife is looking forward to a "snow day" Wednesday!

It's actually warmer than it's been lately. But it's just now starting to blow.
Which means I'll probably be spending the afternoon shoveling the driveway. :(
Barkes, what area are you at? I'm about 7 miles south of Fort Wayne.
Something we've noticed is the south side gets a lot less precipitation than the north side of Ft Wayne.

Terre Haute weather report:

Rain - Ice - Snow (in that order)

Limbs have a nice coating of ice and some have fallen. I have huge soft maple(box elder) trees surrounding my house and I hate this weather. I should go out and make knives while I still have power

Hey...when we gonna have a Hoosier Hammer In???

I hear there's almost 12 feet of snow on the ground in parts of N.Y.
Those are some hardy folks up there.
I'm putting chains on the A.C. "B" getting ready to plow my 1/4 mile long driveway. I'll be doing some forging this afternoon, whatever the weather.

Stay safe out there, Fred

Yeah, I've been thinking about that too. It'd be great to have it here in Fort Wayne. The Allen County Fairgrounds have some decent facilities.

We didn't get too much snow here. You folks up in Ft Wayne probably need to have a "shovel out" before a "hammer in". :)

I have never been to a hammer in, let alone help organize one, so I have no idea what it entails. I DEFINITELY would attend one in Ft Wayne, only a 2 hour drive for me. Count me on THE LIST, which is probably one of many I am on. :D

We should get the ABS involved since they already have experience with Hammer-Ins. I'll start another thread to see if anyone else is interested.
It wouldn't make much sense to have a hammer-in for 3 people. :D

OK, I am the "new kid" on this forum and do not know what a "Hammer In" is. If it involves knives I am in (have a small, and I mean small sharpening business). Always looking to learn more about knives...
