Cool Japanese knife website

Those are fantastic blades -- love that friction folder.

Shuriken?
I am "Mister Shuriken"!

For senban shuriken, Ed Green is #1.

For Bo Shuriken, well, I need to know what school, but there are several nice makers out there.
(Ed makes all kinds)

Keith Sauers (Ferrouswheel) can make some nice chishin ryu blades.

This guy also makes all types, but his prices are a tad high.

I buy mine from my shuriken teacher, but I'm not sure where he gets them (make or buy) I pay 15$ apiece for them. I think that is at cost...

What about for Kukishinden Ryu?

You might not believe this, but the Kukishin ryu blades are 99% exactly the same as the Skinny-type Katori shinto ryu blades.

I've handled them both and I could not tell the difference.
It is a good design. It has a very elongated lozenge shape. A needle sharp point with a weighted butt end. It throws well at long distances and sticks deep with little effort.
they are a tad fragile though. You have to be careful with them when you practice. (they were designed for combat which means one-time use, basically)

Ed Green can make any shuriken you want.
