its the front half of a demilled m1 carbine reciever from ww2, not a trigger lock :D you can thank clinton for butchering a peice of history. weights not really a problem, its not that heavy and even if it wears something out ive got a half a dozen lock cylinders in the basement.

Screw it- Just snap your keys into the sling swivel & be done w/ it... ;)
Actually a pretty cool idea- pity a rifle had to die for it.

Oh well it looked like one to me, I know knives not guns. When it comes to guns I'm not illiterate but I sure don't speak the language.

im thinking about buying up several more and offering chopped garands for garand matches with m1 carbine keychains for the club keys of match winners.

ive been talking about it for a while but i want to orginize a ww2 match, pistols, carbine/thompson silioute, and rifle silioute. every one ive talked to seem interested, if all goes well id like to have some ww2 reinactors at the 500 yard range before the match with a demenstration of the garand, carbine, 1911, bar, and .50 cal. i would be willing to throw in some "awards" besides the demilled guns. im not sure if i could drum up the interest from the club leaders but i would like to give away a m1 carbine to the overall top shooter.
