Anyone who makes kit knives should check it out. Its in the new 2000 catalog for Koval knives.
Its a really nice looking liner lock with a 3.5" AUS8 blade. The standard kit (29.95) has all the hardware and parts, or you can get upgraded kits to include handle material pre machined or mike norris stainless damascus .
If you've been looking for a quality folder kit, check it out. You can get info on ordering a catalog from www.kovalknives.com .
If I hadn't just taken the plunge into making knives from scratch instead of using kits I would order one of these.

I can't get to my catalog right now because my Dad is laying down some new ceramic floor tiles. But I remember that it was on the page right after the Ken Largin Blade Blanks right in the middle of the catalog. Its not with the other folder kits. Make sure you've got the new catalog for 2000 too, its not in the 1999.

Hey Darryl, are you making those for Koval or is it just your design? It just occurred to me that if you are selling to koval, .... well, if I was going to buy one I'd rather see the maker get the profit.

Folders are way out of my league for now, but I might be able to handle a kit and I am in the market for a pocket knife.

I designed several items for Koval over the last few years. The kit is my design . They are having them manufactured. There also thumbers and several pivots in there. Rick Hinderer also has some great pivots in there new catalog and thumbers.
I talked to Judy yesterday and she has the kits on back order. We are looking at comming out with several blade styles for the kit later if all goes well. Koval is investing in the future. Many newer style knife kits are being looked at.
They are carrying many updated forgeing steels (15n20), nickel ect, cpm type steels for blades ect..
