Cool new Emerson decal!

Congrats. The GJ has been growing on me for a while.
 
Congrats on both. Let me know how you end up liking the Gentleman Jim, I've been eying one for a while
 
I just got a fresh cqc-15 and it came with no decal, now I have my suspicions why, and I'm jealous
 
Many of my more recent purchases have come with no sticker, even directly from EKI. A few have come with one similar to this one but shaped like the older one and not round. That Gentleman Jim is a sweet blade for a "smaller" knife.
 
Thanks to a friend I had previously handled a GJim and already knew I'd love it. I'll likely buy a BT one also and Po'Boy one of them. Not sure if I want a Murdered Jim or a blingy "dressed" Jim. I love the grip, and the blade is just so precise and easy to slice with. If anyone is on the fence, jump down on the yes side.
 
I got these when a couple of CQC-7 came back from service - sharpening and spa treatment.

The GJ is the most useful EDC Emerson for me and I would venture to say for most. Relatively small compared to the other models, but enough blade to not feel wanting for EDC. Excels at many things with the exception of prying [which I don't use a folder for], in a smaller package. I'm surprised it's not more popular. YMMV

I picked up a new version mini CQC-15 a few weeks ago and it had the older black sticker in the box. Actually just today I thought I lost the sticker but turns out it was stuck in the box, black side down.
Ive never seen the black oval stickers for sale anywhere, so I'm hesitant to use it
 
I just got my first Emerson... a CQC-7a #2248 and didn't get any such thing in the box. im feeling left out LOL. ahh well, great knife and I have absolutely ZERO complaints. kicked my milspec Hest/F outta my pocket in a matter of hours
 
Ooh, I like that sticker. Just ordered a christmas edition knife, can't wait to see what kind of sticker I get with mine.
