Cool New Watch : Nixon October

this is my new nixon october limited with horween leather band. it also has some small changes from the other versions like the silver hands and casing ( which they now make available on their black rubber band version ) it uses swiss quartz movement. the watch is modeled after old WW1 and WW2 watches used my submariners

Movement: Swiss made ISA quartz 3 hand with large date and customized crown and date 9 hour placement.

Dial: The dial is surrounded by a custom injection molded rubber dial ring and seconds track

Case: 48.5 mm, 300 meter/ 30ATM custom sandwich construction solid stainless steel case with sandblast finish, a fixed solid stainless steel bezel, domed hardened mineral crystal with antiglare treatment on the underside of the crystal, solid stainless steel triple gasket screw down crown with a custom molded rubber insert, stainless steel screw down caseback and solid stainless steel continuous bar lugs for added strength.

I got mine on amazon for $240

here it is next to my casio paw1500gb-1 which like the brown leather nixon october is another limited run watch the October normally comes with a black rubber band so if you do intend to buy the same watch do it now while they still have them

By the way how is the lumn? compared to seiko's . assuming it is luminous.

yeah they are not luminous but i feel it just makes it more limited and different. plus if your like me you got your share of watches that glow

I'm 6'5 so I'm not a small guy. I wear a large size glove you can see in the pic when I strap it i have 3 spare holes
