I know a few of you collect and / or like vintage tools.

I recently ran across this interesting looking locking pliers/wrench - called the 12 inch Shark made by Richards Tool in Aurora Illinois - no longer in business.

I know Jeff and John will get a kick out of it - I want to find a way to display it for the man-cave, I thought it looks like a prehistoric steampunk dinosaur.

Very cool, I wonder what its purpose was.

Definitely has a prehistoric look to it.

Edit: Its an alligator wrench.

Used by railroad mechanics and others to turn pipes and/or rods.

Looks pretty cool. I need to dig around the basement to see what is there.

That's pretty cool. I am beginning to gather a small collection of old tools. Not really a collection, mine get used regularly. I just gravitate to the old ones. My favorites are Bernard parallel pliers. I simply love the design.

Here's a rare one.

Couldn't resist.:D

It's a few years old now and pretty cool if I don't say so myself.

This is my newest old parallel plier. I use it a ton.

Oh yeah, I'm kind of addicted to old deconstruction tools, too. That is a 16lb Quikwerk straight pein hammer that I saved and put back in use.

Cool pliers and sledge - looks well loved!

I am getting old enough some of the tools I bought when young are getting to be vintage tools, and I have many wrenches and tools that belonged to my grandfather.

Good to see "the Tool", Mykel - great looking knife.
