Just got back from renewing my drivers license, $30? I was tempted to stop driving for that price! From $10 to $30, what happened to $20?

A couple months ago I bought a beater Explorer to drive while I save for something else. It was nearly $200 to make it legal.

That's more than half what I payed for the damn thing.:D

I just had to drop $95 for a parking permit at work. Not happy at all. Lots of other things I would rather have spent that money on.
