I haven't posted here for a few moons but here are three pics I took while playing around with my remaining pieces of INFI.

Those are AWESOME shots of a couple great knives......did you polish them yourself?

I used Mother's Magnesium and Aluminum Polish.

A small container of it (a little goes along way) costs about $5 USD. This compound also works amazingly well as a stropping compound. Apply a little bit to a piece of leather or fabric and you can have razor sharp mirror polished edges in under 2 minutes.

Sweet.
Someone's going to start calling you Porker La before too long.
(Oh, wait, I guess I just did. :o )

Appreciate the info - will look at using it to maintain my Game Warden/satin blade.

This just goes to show you that HOGdom isn't how many you have in the safe.
Just how much you love your INFI!

I'm no hog, but I do love my INFI! :D

As I am sure most or all of you have noticed, I have been selling of most of my Busses except for the ones I really love and use. These are the ones that are probably staying with me.

Peter that SFNO is amazingly beautiful bro. Fantastic work on it! Those Mag handles you put on it just make the look of that knife. And the mirror finish, well dang man.... now I want one even more. Thanks! ;)

 That is kick arse:thumbup: I was hoping to see the finished pics of the knifes after you showed the coating removal process THAT IS AWSOME

So I understand..those were coated blades that he removed the coat then shined? Very nice.

Very nice work. My coating on my hell razor is quite beat up from hard use. I may eventually follow your lead. Another question: What did u do to polish it with the mother's? Just a rag and elbow grease or power tool?

I just used a cloth and elbow grease, a power tool would probably give better results but I still use these pieces. If I make them to nice and shiny I may be too afraid to use them. ;)
