You're darn right he is! Not to mention being Condor's lead designer and a long-standing member here.![]()
I picked up my first machete, an 18 inch Tramontina, on one of my visits to PY at one of the many ferreriterias on Avenida Mariscal Lopez in Asuncion. We didn't cross over to Argentina but got to see it from Cerro Lambare. That area is one I want to get back to, I would especially like to see Argentina someday. This is the first of Joe's videos I've ever watched, I like his style. He seems like a fun guy. Plus, as a South American, being described as a machete god was a nice ego boost.Seriously, though, I've seen guys at my grandfather's sugar cane plantation in the North-East of Argentina (close to Paraguay and Brazil, a tropical rainforest area) use their machetes for almost all their daily tasks.
