Cool vid on how to use a machete by Joe Flowers

You're darn right he is! Not to mention being Condor's lead designer and a long-standing member here. :)

I love his vids, wish he had more time to make vids.

I also liked watching your vids too! I was the one who left that smartass comment asking you if your lawnmower ran out of gas :) lol

ahhhh, Joe's 'bushcraft studio'. I have visited with Joe, and worked out in the studio with him. Joe is a fine human being, a great teacher, and most definitely one of the good guys.
This was the stack of sharp things in his office when I was there.

And the best part is if there were such a thing as an iceberg made of machetes that would only be the very tiniest tip of it! :D :D :D

Joe is indeed a man of many machetes. Great at making vids, too. Those added bits of humor are very well placed.

One of my fav Joe vids is the one where he demonstrates a mosquito repellent device. He goes out and finds a swarm of them and let them bite his bare legs. He's one brave dude!

Great vid, and many others on machete and big knife use.

Thanks for pointing these out and to Joe too for making them.

This is the first of Joe's videos I've ever watched, I like his style. He seems like a fun guy. Plus, as a South American, being described as a machete god was a nice ego boost. :D Seriously, though, I've seen guys at my grandfather's sugar cane plantation in the North-East of Argentina (close to Paraguay and Brazil, a tropical rainforest area) use their machetes for almost all their daily tasks.

Thanks for sharing, I'm definitely going to check out a few more of his videos.

Joe's enthusiasm is just so overflowing in his videos you can't help but catch it too! :D

I picked up my first machete, an 18 inch Tramontina, on one of my visits to PY at one of the many ferreriterias on Avenida Mariscal Lopez in Asuncion. We didn't cross over to Argentina but got to see it from Cerro Lambare. That area is one I want to get back to, I would especially like to see Argentina someday.
