I've seen a few great examples, but I was hoping to get some more photos or stories of everyone's most bad-ass Becker bushcraft projects: deadfalls, log cabins, Flinstones cars, etc.

Make a Pole-arm out of a stick and the BK2. It might be a little bit top heavy though. :D

i want to see this flintstone car!!!!

havent owned my becker knives long, the only bushcraft thing i have done with a becker is make a fire bow drill, a small lean-to and cut some firewood.

With my bk11 i made a party platter for one of my wifes work meetings. cardboard floor with wax paper on top, toothpicks for support on trees and fencing. then there was a log cabin made of carrots and broccoli. it had a swimming pool on the side of ranch dressing. broccoli tops as trees and a cellery pickett fence. it was about 10x12" and 8" high. with 2 interior rooms, each was full of olives. I was told it was the coolest party platter ever and her boss asked me to make another for there xmas party! this time ill take alot of pictures :)

LOL... :)

I'm in as I am sure there will be some awesome pics here soon.. When my BK9 arrives I'll hopefully be contributing :)

worldwood - that's the kind of stuff I was looking for. Very cool.

pap11y - be sure to post some pics when you get the BK9

I built this with my BK2, took me a few days though.... ;) :p

Bow drill set built with my BK16. Haven't made a coal with it yet but got a ton of smoke...

Nearly got it then. Your dust is getting displaced from the hole and cooling. Cut a V notch from the edge of the wood into that hole. Your dust will accrue into a coal there.

Almost perfect. Looks like the hole is just a little too far in though. Should be just a little bit closer to the edge, and cut the notch to give the dust/embers a place to gather. You'll want them to gather on something other than a leather glove though. :) A piece of bark, another plank, etc..

Yup that drill is good to go, needs a notch, could be a little closer to the edge but with a notch im sure it will grab a coal fine.

Nice work!

And goose, id believe you destroyed that with your bk2 more :)

I used my bk-11 to help make a spoon. Batonned wood for fire, whittled the spoon shape. once I get a bk-9 I plan to do a lot more

It isn't too cool, but pretty useful... I whittled this fishing float (read bobber, but not the BH#245 one :D) with my 14 once on a day hike. The cool part is that you can wrap the line you find near a fishing hole around it, as I did with this one.

Ok, OK...
Here's the shelter I spent two nights in last year for the August challenge... not a log cabin per se, but it did the trick!

I've done a few things in ethan's contests that I never would have done if there weren't a possible free knife on the line. I carved trap triggers and snares, Made a fork with a BK9 an Atlatl an some camp furniture.
