OK, cost aside, what is the coolest bluetooth enabled cell phone for the US market? I may need to restrict it to t-mobile and cingular at some point, but I'd like your thoughts on the very best... bluetooth needed for the new car. Thanks

I like my Moto 710, but if I could buy another one today it's be the Treo 650.
I have the 650. Not happy with the Sprint reception on it but the net and email are great. Bluetooth isn't very good with the Lexus and the Treo 650.

Treo-650.

Traded in a Razr and a Blackberry to get it. Takes a while to set everything up properly - but when you do - IT ROCKS! AMAZING!

If you have any friends in Asia, ask them. They have phones that we won't get for another year and if you get a three band phone they will work with all the GSM (Cingular and Tmobile) service providers.

I use the Nokia 6600 on T-Mobile. It has Bluetooth and it works flawlessly and it is very easy to set up with Bluetooth Devices. I have had it for about a year now and reception is crystal clear and the huge screen is an added bonus. This phone is not currently oin the T-Mobile line-up. Cingular carries the Nokia 6620 which is a step up from the 6600. They don't carry it in there current line up either so you may have to find either one on eBay or purchase it directly from Nokia.

Sorry to hear that. I've stuck with Verizon as a carrier and been basically happy with the service, but I know they've played some games with the BT on the Moto 710, limiting it to voice and restricting some data functions for vague "security" reasons. I wanted the Treo for the PDA functionality, frankly

My employer is selling BT headsets but my experience with car-based BT is nil, so I don't have any idea as to why one might work better than another.
