Stainless or carbon steel. Just about any size. You could get 3 in that price range.

If you had a few bucks more Opinel in Ebony #8, but they are about $63.

None of my quality slip joint folders seem to be able to withstand spine whacking..........does that mean they are not quality?

You should try one of the old U.S. Schrade LB7 lockbacks. Clone of the Buck 110, but slightly larger & heavier.
