My connection fried my links, but there was a free online knife magazine that showed what has to be the coolest knife I've ever seen. It was a damascus job that had working gold gears that operated when you opened or closed the knife, and were visible through cut-outs in the scales. It had to be one of the coolest things I've ever seen. Maybe Coop could tell you who made it, he does a lot of photo work for those magazines. I just wish I could tell you what they were called, OR show you a pic of the knife I'm talking about. A REAL piece of industrial art!

Thanks, Vassili.

I don't know if anyone can pull up a picture the knife (dagger) with the intricate pearl inlay on the blade, but what a piece of work that one was!
UNBELIEVABLE!

Practically all knives that has damascus blades I found to be very unique and cool looking. Of all the knives I have, I've been enjoying the design and build of my Chris Reeve knives especially my Shadow III. It is practical and great looking for me to EDC.

A Spyderco DoDo with a blade etching of Spyderco's "all of God's critters have knives" poster on it. I do believe it is a Photoshop job, but it's an incredible looking knife photo. The DoDo with the serrated blade and black G10 handle is, for some reason, very visually appealing to me.

The top knife on this first page; the one with fish scales, and scales for a backspacer is one of the coolest knives that I have ever seen.
