Right, cop for this youse dudes and dudesses!!!

I have enough money for ONE folder and ONE only!!!!!!!!!!

It has to be all singing and all dancing and fulfill all needs (wide and various no doubt!).

What should it BE?????????

With reasons of course...........

What exactly are you going to do with it? type of cutting? any prying?

Price range?

Preferred Materials

Preferred Bladeshape

Preferred Lock (if any)

You will have to narrow down your preferences, because there are just way too many to choose from.

If you want a locking, single-blade folder, it's hard to beat the Spyderco Paramilitary, IMO. Reliable lock, slim and light for easy carry, hole for easy opening, full flat grind with decent edge geometry suitable for most cutting chores. ~$100
For something more "multi-toolish" in a knife, there are a variety of Swiss Army knives. Unless you have specialized needs, the basic Victorinox Recruit gets my vote. It's a very light, compact knife with large(relative term here) and small fully flat ground drop point blades, can opener, bottle opener, flat and phillips screwdrivers, tweezers and toothpick. ~$15
Other models add or trade for different tools like dedicated phillips head, reamer, saw, and on and on...huge selection to choose from.
SAKs aren't very glamorous, I know, but they ARE very practical.

How about a Spyderco Delica?
Can be found for less than $50.00 and will take care of 99% of anything that you might need a knife for.
