COP Tool?

"October or November"?? But I just saw one listed on ebay. The bidding for it is currently about $25 and has about 23 hours left to bid.
 
I've been watching a couple of major dealers -- just re-checked on one of them -- and they are still pre-order. The eBay listing could be from Europe if they released them there already, or it could be a clone.
 
We had some come in, and filled the backorders we could.
I have some more coming in in about 2 weeks +/-, to fill some more backorder/pre-orders.
Regular shipping should be mid to late November, at the earliest.

I had 3 of these on backorder, and was tickled when they showed up yesterday. I'm sure all you guys will be pleased! They are NEAT!! I already stole one from my inventory for myself. Used it three times today, and it works like a damn! Works real well as a prybar. Another winner! Hope you all get yours soon! Barley:thumbup:
 
They are slowly starting to show up in germany. I bet in 1 or 2 couple of weeks they should be available.

Do they come with leather or zytel sheaths i wonder after some german remarks on messerforum?

I got mine. Leather sheaths. Beautiful little tool, very heavy/solid for its compact size. Worth the wait -- this is a winner. :thumbup:

I keep flipping it around in my hand thinking of more things to break with it. :)

Hey, Daywalker. How about a folding coptool ... ha ha ha ha ha ! :D

One thing I had to do was take the wire edge off the scraper front end. Worked it towards a convex edge there. The serrations also have a wire edge which will need a quick stropping to deal with, but they work fine anyway.

Almost. :) It's just over 6" and in the sheath, 6.5". The sheath has a good metal clip on the back. You could easily wear it like a Razel as a pocket sheath.
 
I received a BOKER Cop Tool yesterday :).

Overall i'm very happy with the tool itself as its purely functional.

The only part of this package that is imo a let down is the leather sheath, it looks to be constructed really well but for insertion and removal of the tool its a two handed job.

I'm curious why Zytel/ kydex wasn't used for a sheath instead of leather ?.

I'm contemplating attempting to moisten the leather for a better fit if this is possible.
