(same post as on spyderco forums
I'm lazy)
Hi
I recently purchased what appears to be a se copilot and two ce ladybugs with red FRN handles for about $35. The copilot has brass liners it seems, and says 'spyderco' on one side of the ricasso, and on the other 'seki-japan'
The serrations are spyderedge style with the two small, and one large scallop, but they don't seem to be as deep, and they seem to have rather blunt points, similar to the serrations on a benchmade. It has been carried, and maybe used but is in very good condition.
Is it a copilot? or is it a knockoff? The ladybugs seem to be genuine, with burgundy/maroon, rather than red, zytel scales, combo edges that were dull, but took a razor edge on the sharpmaker. one seemed to be used, and in good condition, and the other seemed to be in very good, carried, and slightly used condition. They had keyrings through the lanyard holes, and one's scales were somewhat beat up.
thanks
pete
