One of the better deals I once got was a 'new' Spyderco copilot model in stainless with serrated
blade - and there in lies the problem - I really don't like "toothy" blades and have a tendancy to contribute my "DNA" :grumpy: to whatever I'm working on with that knife - QUESTION is - does anyone have experience with either "re-blade" or a re-ground blade? I think I'd really love:) this knife without the teeth!

I dont think re-blading is an option, not at least by the Spyder guys. I did take files and filed off the serrations to make a rather functional co-pilot myself several years ago. It turned out ok and if I spent just a little more time finishing the edge it would certainly look better, but I would also loose another .050" of blade, and I don't know if I want to do that. Another thought would be to look into the new Spin model.
