Loving my new Buck 119 in 5160 and cocobolo handle. Got #51 of 100. This knife is so nice. They did a great job on it and the 5160 is awesome stuff. I have a couple 110s in that steel and it's been amazing.

It is a good looking 119, I got number 13, not sure if I want to use it or wait to buy one from a non numbered batch.

Thanks all. I'm super happy with it. They also have the black scale version as well so grab one. It was a great price too

I'm not sure they will make a non numbered batch but if they do that's awesome too

Update to this year old thread:
Yes they do offer a non numbered cocobolo/5160 version, I just got one.
I like how it says "custom" on the tang.
BUT, the blade isn't etched with 5160/BOS like the numbered version in the pic.
Kind of bummed about this.

Thinking about maybe forcing a patina on it, to prove/show its a carbon steel and not stock 420.
What do ya thinks is the easiest, just slather some mustard on it and wait 24hrs and wash it off?

Beautiful 119! Thank you for sharing.

I don't have one like yours but my BUCK 119 Special comes in as my second favorite knife right behind my TOP favorite Buck Ranger Skinner 113 Fixed Blade Knife.

I love my Buck knives!

I've really been kicking around the idea of picking up the 5160 119 or 120. They just look so sweet and I bet the 5160 is a great user steel.
