This one is something I have been wanting to do for a long time, and a little different for me.
Next to carbon steel, copper is my favorite metal! I really like how it has such a warm look to it, and with the heavy hammer texture it has a very "soft" feel. The hammered texture continues around the entire edge of the spine.
What do you think?

cool stuff Ben. I live in an area where you can go up into the 'mountains' and find whole chunks of raw, elemental copper. The early cultures here made knives and tools directly from it without having to smelt. I've been trying to find the time to get out and find some for fittings and such....
 
That would be very cool Scott, all we have in Oregon are rocks! :cool:
