Copper & Clad Exclusives (?)

I recently received an ad from Copper & Clad that included two 110s that I had not seen before. I'm not sure that these are exclusives or not. Anyone have any insight?

(1) 110 Indigo Blue Nickel Silver Drop Point - listed at $129.99 (only one available). I'm not sure the indigo blue scales are worth a premium to me, but interesting.

(2) 110 Black Micarta Aluminum Lightweight Drop Point - listed at $129.99 but not currently available. I'd like one of these.

I was trying to ask in another thread, I think aluminum can be hardened, so does the aluminum offer a good strong frame and don’t have to worry about lateral stress? Better than brass?

I'm not a hard user, so its good enough for me, but brass has about double the shear strength of aluminum.

They pop up from time to time. People usually want a pile for them. I’ve been tempted, but I prefer heavier for a 110 and never bit. An aluminum 112 would be interesting.

If I carry a 110 it’s always one of the aluminum versions. I’ve had about 10 of them just recently sold a few. My favorite is the s30v drop point copper and clad red micarta aluminum.

I could not resist, I bought one of the Indigo Blue and Silver 110s ... I'm still wavering on the Cherrywood with partially serrated blade 110 ...

Yeah and DLT and SK Blades too. Too bad Buck stopped doing sfo's. Probably a sound financial decision, but it was fun while it lasted. The big price increases have dampened my enthusiasm also. In fact, the price hikes have actually saved me money. Silver lining...
