Hey all- I've been going through a little bit of a copper phase. Purchasing a copper hinderer pen, a copper olight, and looking for whay else I can get in copper. Will copper scales work on a knife? I have a manix 2 xl that I would like to get a set on, but I know i have heard about copper causing corrosion on metals it is against. I've been trying to figure out if that's an okay thing to do, but so far I have only found people asking the same questions I am with no answers. I want the copper to patina as well.

I have copper scales on my Boker Kwaiken. They do add a little weight and can make your hands smell like pennies after the copper begins to patina, but I love the look of them.
I've had no corrosion issues with them besides the patina that they've developed naturally.
