I have to start counting - how many knives did I make last week ...
Here is my latest "Coppehead" model - supposedly boot-knife styled with all-synthetic handle for a different look and feel. This is a second-generation model with an alternative style of handle and guard. In testing I found it to be stronger, and many little "tricks" during the making process allow the handle to be made completely separately from the blade. The finished blade just slots into the mortised handle and locks in tight with no gaps.
