I have a pretty simple question, I hope. I have a copperliner and I love it. Looks old school, but has a decent lock on it. I have had slipjoints close while using them. Have not been hurt, but it gives you a scare.
My question is- What is the locking liner made of? The ads say nickel-silver, but would that be hard enough to last a few years of use? It's not steel, my magnet does not stick. I hope someone has an answer.

hm.. thats strange!
The liner should be stainless steel, so I cannot explain, why your magnet does not stick to it.

The bolster are made of nickel silver, not the liner. But I can tell you this: the liner will perform even after a few years of use. If you get once blade play, send it in.
