Copperlock vs. Trapper?

There seems to be some resemblance detween the Case Copperlock and the Trapper. Obviously the lock is different, and it has the guard/hump on the front of the handle by the pivot point. But beyond that, how close is the layout of the large Copperlock (4 1/4 closed) to the Trapper?

And just to make things even more confusing, they also made a few copperhead trappers, at 3-15/16" closed length, this one in CV.

I happen to be a fan of the copperhead bolster, and wish their small saddlehorn had it just like the large one does.

Just comparing photos of the two knives:

Copperlock has a much longer nail nick, a swedge on the top of the blade and although the knives both have clip blades, they have different lines/grinds.
Copperlock is 4 1/4" closed and the Trapper 4 1/8" closed.
Copperlock has two pins near the bolster to hold on the scales, Trapper one.

I am not big into Case knives, but from what I have seen Copperlocks usually have one blade and the Trapper usually two.

One major difference is the width. The copperlock is much thinner.
