Lately I've coming to read more and more on the traditional forums since I purchased my GEC 72 in stag.
After reading a recent thread and becoming enamoured with the looks of some lucky forum members' Case Copperlock in Ebony (of course finding one like it is next to impossible) I was wondering if any one that has a copperlock and a mini that might be able to do a side by side pic comparison along with what it may look like in hand for size purposes.

Thanks folks, just another BF member lookin for some help before I drop the cash

Great pics Ed.I greatly prefer the full size, but the mini is a nice little knife. It just doesnt fill the hand as well.

thanks for the images everyone.

It looks like I have to get both :).....now why doesnt that surprise me

Scary, the large copperlock patttern is in the "vault" and no new knives are being made presently; the mini is in production in several versions. You may have to look a bit to get the larger size, but there are a lot of them out there. Be sure to come back here and post what you get!

well that explains why I'm not finding what I want!! Damn vaults LOL
Thanks for that tid-bit of info

Thanks, the yellow bone is pretty light on it, but it is a fine knife; the other side looks a bit better. It's a bummer that Case has put the large Copperlock in the vault. Even though I like my mini trappers, I like the large size of the copperlock pattern better. Go figure. I just picked up a new to me mini copperlock from Jason Baker in a very pretty brown bone. Haven't had a chance to get a picture yet though.

Joe-bob, that wharncliffe copperlock is nice! I have one in the cranberry bone. Ed J

Sorry, only have one, but can't resist putting up a picture.

I sure do like those copperlocks with the wharncliffe blades. Great looking cutters. Your handle is cool looking as well. Thanks for showing your one!

that yellow case Full Size Copperlock is great!!!

It is yellow bone as opposed to yellow synthetic which is why there is some color variation in the scales. It's my favorite of the ones I have. - Ed J
