Is/Was the "Cor-Ex" sheath another name for Nylon/Ballistic Nylon/Cordura Nylon, or is/was it a Polymer plastic?

EDIT:
Concerning my Finn Bear and trying to date it.
According to the catalogs, the Finn Bear was introduced in 2007. It came with a "Nylon"/"Ballistic Nylon"/"Cordura Nylon" (all three terms were used in the catalogs) from 2007 to 2011. Starting in 2012, it came with a "Cor-Ex" sheath, until 2017, when a "polymer" sheath (but not "Secure-Ex" or "Kydex") was mentioned for the first time.

So, I know my knife was made sometime between 2007 and either 2011 or 2017, depending on what the heck "Cor-Ex" is.

Pretty sure it is Cordura. They seem to have a thing for "-Ex"...there's been Concealex, Secure-Ex, and Cor-Ex sheaths, and Kray-Ex (kraton) handles.
