Here are some pics of a scorpion jr that is finished except for sharpening. It is Chad Nichols rattler damascus .156 blade. The liners are .070 titanium anodized green with the edges purple. The Chad Nichols bolsters and blade are heat blued. The handle scales are fossil coral and the backspacer and clip are heat blued Alabama damascus. My pics are sure to NOT do the knife justice but you can get the idea. What ya'll think of this colored critter ???

I LOVE everything about it, except the thumb stud. Why have a thunmb stud on a flipper? I just do not like that thumb stud at all.

:eek:Damm Butch!!! That sure looks great. The Coral goes perfect with the bolsters/blade. Great job!!

A LOT, going on there, but it all works IMO.

I'm not so opposed to the look of the thumb stud as I am where it comes through on the opposite side. Could you have buried it into the blade?

I like it. Beautiful bolsters and the thumb stud does'nt bother me- always god to have 2 options.

The 2 options in my opinion is the way to go in this politically correct world we live in. Some people may see this as a sinister gesture when a blade fires open but think nothing of seeing it opened with a thumbstud. This way a person has options as they choose and can fire away at times or be sheeple correct at other times. I also made this stud much smaller than the one on the last knife I posted as some thought it too large. Just my thoughts but what do I know???:)
