OK All, looking for some more help. Working on a tactical style knife here(well, just drawing initial designs, but will be grinding this week), and want a cord wrapped handle. have a variety of cords(paracord, three different color combos of boot laces, etc). I have looked all over on the web, and haven't found myself a good cord wrap tutorial. Have one by our own Scott Fulford here, and I can't seem to get it to work quite right yet. His pictures are missing, as it is an old post, and I think this is the problem. I seem to be missing some step here.

Anyways, I'm looking for a very basic cord wrap handle. No tying of knots, no twisting of the cord(like on a stryder). Just want a basic wrap, which being with no knots, will of course involve some tucking under of the end under wraps I ahve done. This seems to be where I'm having my problem too.

Yeah, I've seen the strider knives one, but this isn't quite what I wanted, on this particular blade. Also, I don't quite get the pictures. Between steps 3 and 4, I don't get what they do with the end of that first wrap. Unless they epoxy it on the back, I'm not sure what they did with that.

That last tutorial from runningdogknives is excellent. I now have the info I need to finish one or two basic knives that have been laying around in my shop for a while. :)

hahaha, yes, yes it is. THink that last one is exactly what I need, though the other ones are both bookmarked too, as think I'll use stuff from both of them for other projects.

Scott was nice enough to resupply the pictures for the initital page I was talking about, and I just reposted the directions for him with the pictures included. So anyone else needing yet one more cordwrapping instructions, drop me an email and I can point you over there.
