I have some knives with all metal handles and i wrapped them with cord but i'm looking for a more fuller grip. Is there maybe a web site or something to learn a way to wrap themwith a thicker grip.
thanks for your time.

try belt webbing or cloth athletic tape.

Webbing works great also try that cheap stretch cord stuff at REI

Cord wrapped handles provide a very good grippy surface.

I suggest that you have a hole at the end of the handle, to do the finish wrap in.
Take some wood, cut to shape and sand down the edges so they are rounded over.
Epoxy them to the handle slab, drill a hole through the wood, keep the height of the wood low, just enough to make a thicker handle.

I'd then glue some stingray skin on each side of the handle, and drill the hole in the end as well.

Then start your wrap, using wide shoe lace, works real well, see this other post for more info;

also this is one that I did a while ago, now resides with a friend in Maryland!

One option is just to go to more layers. When I've done that in the past I clean the metal first, and apply epoxy. For the under layers I use both epoxy and cord. The outer layer gets only incidental epoxy from the next layer down. I've used so much epoxy over the years that I don't want it routinely in contact with my skin for fear of allergic reaction.

Another wrapping possibility is leather shoe laces or other leather cord or strips.

i have a cs recon scout that i wrapped like srider knives do theirs or at least pretty close. i used para cord and i really like the grip. it's a little round for some, but you can vary that. and if i really needed to, i could use the para cord off the handle.
