Wanted to try somethin a little different for a while...

Much lighter, still nice in the hand. Honestly I handled bare bones for a while with no scales and it was still pretty dang secure and not bad for a skeletonized handle. Im sure the scales will go back on eventually, i just wanted to see what else worked.

It's good to know there's another option with these. Now I need to get one for sure. Thanks for sharing!

I think ive said it once today already and I'll say it again now. I HAVE. To have necker 2!!

I love the necker 2. It really reminds me of a fixed blade utility knife. Very handy

Whoa nice work, man! This is the first cord wrapped necker II that I've seen, but not only that I like the pattern and the knot looks secure and is very low profile. Worlds beyond what I could have done!

So what for a sheath now?

That is too cool. I would imagine the grip is still very secure, since the handle has the built-in finger hole. Nice job!

I have a set of green canvas scales that are extra. Tonight I am going to grind off the part of the scale that covers the spine side of the ring and go with a minimalist scale. Just to see.

That will be interesting to see! I also have an extra scale I've been thinking of experimenting with...
