Cord wrapping handles how?

There has been several customized knives that feature cord wrapped handles as part of the blades makeover.

The cord isn't weaved around the the handle they look like they are held together with knots somehow. But the cord is just wrapped around the handle in coils.

How do they do it?

yep try the strider site i did my greco recon like that and it looks pretty darned "striderish" , wasnt hard either, i used 2 diff thicknesses of it also like pictured.

best to:

1) tape the blade edge (very important!)

2) put knife in a vise/something to hold it while ya wrap.
